Hydro Builder! I was very happy to get a sample pack of this amazing mix by Optimum Nutrition (ON), even if it was only a 1⁄2 serving sample. Why should you care about this all-in-one protein blend? Essentially, it combines ON’s world class Hydro Whey with: creatine, Betaine, and Aminos. Oh, and it costs the same as just buying their Hydro whey. Of course it would be up to you if these extra ingredients were necessary for your supplement stack, but if you don’t already take them, then Hydro Builder would be a good way to start.
Jay Cutler Elite Series Jay Cutler, like many other pro bodybuilders, has his own supplement line and has had one for a few years now. Starting in late 2012 and into 2013 you could purchase his first series, the Jay Cutler Elite Series. This was a softer launch, and was not available in GNC here in Canada and generally seemed less marketed at the time. Now in 2014 His brand has dropped the first name, and goes by the name Cutler Nutrition (Parented by BPI Sports) and although his products are the same essentially, they are being heavily marketed and have received a complete face-lift to attract new buyers.
Kaizen Canada has been around for some time now, and more recently has gone through a face lift for some sizes of their Whey product packaging to appeal to a more environmentally-conscious crowd. You are now able to recycle the hard outer shell in your compost as it contains an inner pouch with the powder inside. Being gluten-free, Kaizen Natural Isolate will appeal to more than just the health food crowd, as many people have allergies and sensitivities to gluten and must seem out alternative protein sources.
This protein by company BSN is not new to the game, but for some reason I have never tried it until yesterday afternoon. You’ll see these red cannisters at almost every health store that sells any reputable supplements, and for good reason. Read my short-term review below to find out if it’s worth your money.Manufacturer: BSN Type: Protein Name: Syntha-6 Isolate Flavour: Vanilla Ice Cream Overall Rating: 8.6⁄10 Solubility in Water: 9.
